Candy Corn Nails! I did these free hand and I think they turned out pretty good!
Yesterday was my mom’s birthday, and for her birthday, I decided to do leopard print since she’s obsessed with leopard print. That, I really wanted to base a manicure off of Mondo’s outfit from last weeks Project Runway. I fucking love Mondo. I have a couple of outfits/prints that I want to recreate in the coming weeks that I’m supah excited to work on.
Colors Used:
China Glaze- Kalahari Kiss, Desert Sun, Mahogany Magic (The three perfect colors for leopard print)
Sinful Colors- Cream Pink (Which isn’t even a cream, but a shimmer. What even Sinful.)
My second bottle of China Glaze polish after Lemon Fizz. It’s Desert Sun from their On Safari collection.
New gradient nails. This time I used my favorite polish, China Glaze ‘Electric Pineapple’ as the base with essie’s ‘Go Overboard’ for the tips. It’s a bit weird looking, probably because chartreuse is not necessarily a great color for my pasty skin, but in the end I like it.
I’ve been needing a little boost this week; I’m coming to the end of my beauty school program and now I’m getting a little worried about taking the state board to become licensed, so to boost myself I decided to paint a little happiness on my nails- literally!
I used China Glaze Gaga for Green, Liquid Leather and Happy Go Lucky, SpaRitual Heliotrope, and OPI Alpine Snow. I used this picture as reference:
